I got interested in kayak fishing about 18 months ago and bought a Hobie Revolution a year ago last March. I have fished Alameda Bay, and a few local lakes. I'm having fun, but generally I go solo, because I don't know anyone else who likes the sport. I would really like to learn from more experienced fisherman. At 59, I'm probably a lot older than most enthusiasts, but I do enjoy an adventure.

Welcome aboard! I got my friends into kayak fishing about a year ago and we've been going about 2 to 3 times a month....usually when the surf is small. I usually post on this site as to where we are going to go out and what time, so if you would like to go along, let us know...we can meet up. We've been trying different areas from Redondo to La Jolla.
