Not fishing much lately. The halibuts have done their normal summer disappearing act. :geek: I'll start hitting it again in Sept.

Nice fish! Yeah, I've been trying to keep this site going since Kenny left, but I can't get a good turn out at the tourney's....maybe more people will come out now that the weather has warmed up and the summer fishing is heating up. I'll post the next tourney date in a few days.

Anyone have any suggestions to when and where?

Seems like it'd be hard these days. For now I'm on the side lines with my boat's trailer bearing blown. Hoping to get it fixed within the next couple weeks. I'd be game for an evening or night tourny once it's fixed. Long Beach usually has good nigt action around the islands.

i would be down with that....do you have to have lights on a kayak? Good luck with getting your trailer fixed.

oh yeah. lights are a must especially with the water taxis hauling ass all over. we had a few night turkey shoots on float tubes back in the day. kenny was always lit up like a Christmas tree!

cool..have to work on that..will be on vacation next week, so when i get back I should have some time to add lights. My yak is getting heavy with all this equipment..lol
