The first tournament for So. Bay Kayak Fishing will be on Sun April 13th at Cabrillo in San Pedro. Since it will be our first event it will be open to Boats 18' and under, kayaks, and float tubes combined...Launch will be at 7:00AM at and next to the boat ramp, weigh in at 12:00 noon, raffle, and pot luck will start right after the weigh in...If you come in after 12:00 noon (by my watch) with a fish it will not count...Cost of the tournament will be $20.00 of which $5.00 will go to the website for expenses and the rest going to biggest fish weighed in. Sharks (except Threshers), Rays, Skates, Macs, and Tomcod do not count...Only sport fish will count. This post will be updated as the tournament date gets closer. Boats can have as many anglers as the weight cap on their boats allow and as long as they are Coast Guard and DGF legal...

I am not sure on the shirts...They are not going to be like my BIG Summer Tournament shirts...I won't be having a Big Summer Tournament this year, Might have a big one in the Spring though...This one next month is combined to kick off our tournaments here...Gonna have some good Chit I hope...

I'm in!!! Count me and my son Branden, maybe his girlfriend too. We will be in our boat. Kenny, the tag on the boat lists it as 17'3". If there are any tubers planning on coming, I'll gladly bring live bait closer to the start point from the barge. Too far to kick for us tubers.

Hey Kenny, I will try to make it but we have a Malibu PFA from County Line to Broad Beach on the 12th, so I'll have to see how the arms and back feels after that.
