OK, so the boat has been in the driveway since the 2nd weekend of bug season and needed to be gone through for this season, good thing I started last night.
1st off, the battery was history. It never gave me any trouble but it was toast to get the thing started. A quick switcheroo and then the shifting was all bound up. The cable was obviously full of corosioin and not allowing it to move.
Well, all is back together and working smooth for tomorrow. The fun of being a boat owner, never ending money pit. This was all seasonal maitenance that needs to be taken care of anyways so It should be good for the rest of the summer.
Man, the weather couldn't be any better, looking at any of the web cams, it's grease slick everywhere. If it wasn't for all of the great food and friends tomorrow, it will be hard not to fish the entire day. We might just have to go back out after the eats.
The tide will be high in the morning and dropping, with low tide at the weigh in. It looks like we should be in for some good tidal movement during the tournament, location is going to be the key to winning.
I'm looking forward to seeing all of you again in the morning, and best of luck to ALL!!!!!
